Welcome to Askwritefish's blog and message board for Missouri Ozark Fly Fishing tips, fishing anecdotes, and general fly fishing information.  This page mainly focusses on smallmouth, bluegill, largemouth, sunfish, rock bass, and so on.  If I want to catch trout, I visit relatives in Colorado and Wyoming.  They come to St. Louis specifically to fish for smallmouth and other Missouri Ozark fish.

	Keep it simple and cheap!  Wal-Mart often has great deals on fly rods and reels.  They may not be in your local store but you can order online.  Search here.
